ABOUT MATT MACFARLANE

Founder of m15e ventures

A Perth native Matt spent 11 years in Europe working in telecommunications M&A through the 90's. After returning to Perth he co-founded Web 2.0 startup Minti in 2004.

In 2009, Matt co-founded Yuuwa Capital LP, a A$40m Venture Capital fund and led the IT investments of the fund (incl. Agworld, icetana). The initial fund is now wound up and Yuuwa is undertaking new activities led by my co-founders - I have no involvement.

Matt has invested over $1m of his own cash into more than 25 Australian startups as an angel investor (some companies listed below). He is an active participant in the local startup community through roles as Company Chair, Non-executive director, advisor, judge, and mentor
